8th International Leadership Conference

Novel Insights in the Leadership in Business and Economics After the COVID-19 Pandemic (NILBEC 2022)

24th-25th of June 2022, Prague (Czech Republic)

8th International Leadership Conference "Novel Insights in the Leadership in Business and Economics After the COVID-19 Pandemic" (NILBEC 2022) aims at bringing together academics, researchers, and policy-makers from the fields of business, economics, education, social sciences, international relations, energy research as well as political sciences responsible for the creation and maintenance of the sets of rules for the future sustainable development of entrepreneurial and academic leadership in the post-COVID era.

What seemed impossible some 2-3 years ago has now become a reality. The whole concept of leadership and leaders has also undergone profound transformations. The recent COVID-19 pandemic caused a digital surge in the ways business or education are perceived or conducted. Hence, there exists a pressing need for eliciting recent updates in the concepts of leadership in business and economics that would bring new insights into this topic and define the place and the role of leadership within the context of the European Union's Green Deal and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).

The 8th International Leadership Conference conference will offer a wide range of novel keynote speeches, paper presentations, and poster presentations, as well as several roundtables, seminars, and workshops.

The conference builds upon the 7 preceding International Conferences on the related topics that were held by the Prague Institute of Qualification enhancement between 2017 and 2021. The published and indexed materials from the preceding conferences can be found here.

The NILBEC 2022 conference is comprised of the 6 main Tracks:

  • Leadership as a social, economic and cultural phenomenon in the post-COVID era
  • Novel leadership trends in business and economics
  • Leadership in academia and higher education after COVID-19 pandemic
  • Leadership and the digital surge in business and education
  • Leadership in energy policy: new threats and opportunities
  • Leadership within the context of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
