II Workshop on Digitalization and Information Systems in the socio-economic, legal & environmental sustainability

The II edition of the Workshop on Digitalization and Information Systems in the socio-economic, legal & environmental sustainability (DISSELES) was held as a part of the I International Conference "Social, economic, legal and environmental sustainability in the context of digitalization: recent developments in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic" (SELES). Its main objective is to study the digitalization and digital relations, within the context of social, economic, legal and environmental sustainability during the times of the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, the workshop focused on the various areas of computing information and communication technologies (ICT) in economics, law, politics, and international relations. 

The papers presented at the Workshop identified the challenges in the areas of digitalization, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Information Systems. They find ways to address recurring problems related to the socio-economic, legal & environmental sustainability. The topics covered but not exclusive that were proposed for this edition were:

  • Environmental issues in the digital economy;
  • E-government and information systems in the digitalized world;
  • Modern computing technologies as a tool for increasing business competitiveness;
  • Accumulation of social capital within the context of the digitalization of economy;
  • Sustainable development and digital transformation of educational systems;
  • Information and communication technologies in tourism development within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic;
  • Impact of digital technologies for the provision of energy market services;
  • Digitalization of legal proceedings and legal regulations;
  • Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the digitalization and sustainable development of the labor markets;
  • Psychological and pedagogical aspects of teaching a professional foreign language to IT students.
