I Workshop on Digitalization and Information Systems in the socio-economic, legal & environmental sustainability

The I edition of the Workshop on Digitalization and Information Systems in the socio-economic, legal & environmental sustainability (DISSELES) was held as a part of the 1st International Scientific Conference "Legal Regulation of the Digital Economy and Digital Relations: Problems and Prospects of Development" (LARDER 2020). Its main objective is to study the digitalization and digital relations, within the context of social, economic, legal and environmental sustainability. In addition, the workshop focused on the various areas of computing information and communication technologies (ICT) in economics, law, politics, and international relations. 

The papers presented at the Workshop identified the challenges in the areas of digitalization, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Information Systems. They find ways to address recurring problems related to the socio-economic, legal & environmental sustainability. The topics covered but not exclusive that were proposed for this edition were:

  • Environmental problems in the digital economy;
  • E-government, information systems and Big Data;
  • Modern computing technologies as a tool for increasing business competitiveness;
  • Social capital and the digitalization of economy;
  • Digital transformation of Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs);
  • Information and communication technologies (ICT) in tourism and travel;
  • Impact of digital technologies for the provision of energy market services;
  • Digitalization of legal proceedings and legal regulations;
  • New computing technologies at the labor markets.
